ANKARA–CAPPADOCIA-ADIYAMAN(NEMRUTMT.)-Ş.URFA-MARDİN- DİYARBAKIR-VAN-DOGUBEYAZIT-KARS ( 9 night 10 days)
Day 1 Ankara
Meeting at Ankara 13:00pm and transport our drive to Cappadocia transfer to hotel.check in hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 2 Cappadocia
After Breakfast, Fullday excursion of Cappadocia including Goreme Open Air Museum, Zelve valley, Uchisar, cave home visit, Avanos village. Lunch at local restaurant. Ihlara valley (trekking short time), underground city of Derinkuyu end of tour go back to hotel dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 3 Cappadocia-Adıyaman
After breakfast, check out hotel at 08:00 am. towards Adıyaman we stop for lunch in Karatay, famous for ice-cream in Kahramanmaraş. Continue to Adıyaman and overnight.
Day 4 Nemrut-Sanliurfa
Early departure for a beautiful sunrise at the Commagene Nemrut, a peak in anti-Taurus range rising to hight of 7.000 feet, the tumulus of Mithridates. And visit commagene capital of Arsemia, cendere bridge, blackbird tumulus end of tour go back to hotel resting short time and breakfast chect out hotel. Continue to Sanliurfa through Mesopotamia, beautiful countryside and the fertile, rich land in vegetable and fruit farms and cotton. Drive to Harran; city of the prophet Abraham. We will walk through the village with its fortress, old Islamic school and beehive shaped adobe houses. Experience the village life. We continue to Sanliurfa for lunch and a view of the castle with Roman colomns. Visit Mevlit Halil Mosque and the cave of Prophet Abraham. Halil Rahman Mosque and the sacred fish pool. Time permitting a chance to wander in the old Bazaar. Overnight in Sanliurfa. Abrahams birth place.
Day 5 Mardin-Diyarbakir
Today, you’ll drive to Mardin where you will discover highlights of Assyrian civilization. The golden stone Mardin houses blend in to the rock of the hills on which the city is built. In closer inspection, the stone carving and decoration of the houses and public buildings reveals the city as an architectural treasure-chest. Among the jewels are the ancient citadel and several mosques, in particular, Ulu Mosque. Also Kırklar and Darulzafeyran Monastry where you will discover highlights of Assyrian civilization. Drive to Diyarbakır and overnight.
Day 6 Diyarbakir-Van
Situated between Euphrates and Tigris, Diyarbakir at least 5.000 years old and the largest city in southeast Turkey with its grey bazalt city walls. After lunch drive to Van and overnight.
Day 7 Van
Lake Van is the largest lake in Turkey. The province of Van sits by Lake Van, and was the ancient Urartian capital of Tuspa. It is situated in a green, fertile oasis in the midst of rock-strewn mountains. An impressive citadel stands on one of these peaks and dates back to the 9th century BC. There are steps carved in to rock leading to the fortress, and while descending you will be able to see some cuneiform inscriptions paying homage to Persian King, Xerxes of the 5th century BC. Enjoy a morning cruise on Lake Van towards the island of Akdamar with its 10th century church of the Holy Cross, now a museum, whose stone outher walls are richly carved with Old Testament scenes and figures. Today we will visit VAn castle and Akdamar Curch. Overnight in Van.
Day 8 Van-Dogubeyazit-Kars
Start the day with a stop at refreshing waterfalls of Muradiye. Then we go to Dogubeyazid for a breathtaking view of Mt. Ararat, throught to be the final resting place of Noahs Ark. We also visit the impressive palace of Ishak Pasha and have lunch there. Overnight in Kars
Day 9 Kars
Typical eastern Turkish town. High plateau here creates excellent conditions for the products of yoghurt, milk, honey and meat. We’ll go to Ani, Armenian ancient capitol city named after Anahid (Persian goddes worshipped by pagan Urartians) also known as city with 1001 churches
Day 10 Kars -Ankara
After breakfast check out hotel. Transfer to airport at Kars.
